During theory sessions principles and procedures of molecular diagnostic assays and setting up and maintenance of molecular diagnostic laboratories will be taught. During practical sessions, only demonstration of molecular diagnostic and other specailised assays will be given.

This program is for medical /science graduates who want to gain in depth knowledge of Molecular Diagnostics. During theory sessions principles and procedures of molecular diagnostic and other specialized assays and setting up and maintenance of molecular diagnostic laboratories will be taught. During practical sessions, demonstration and hands on training of molecular diagnostic and other specialized assays will be given. Trainees will allowed handling and testing of patient samples. Project and Dissertation work are undertaken as part of this module.
